Wow! A month of summer vacation all ready gone. You know summer only officially began June 21st, and I know many of you are already tired of the heat. I’m one of those people who love and welcomes the heat! I can’t get enough of it!
I have had the opportunity this year to experience allergies for the very first time, and I find it very unpleasant! I can really feel for you all who suffer year after year. I will have much more empathy for my hubby each spring and fall! School did let out at the end of May; however, our summer really began last weekend. We had to find our summer rhythm, and Cassie Lynn still had summer school and piano lessons. So we were still pretty well scheduled. That all ended last Wed! YEAH! Now we can be a little more carefree.
We kicked off our summer with a weekend camping trip! Let’s just say that was an experience and that is a story for another newsletter. We are planning our next outing real soon. We love being outside, and if we are all together we are having a great time!
Blackberries and blueberries are wonderful this year! We did our annual Father’s Day blueberry picking; we even had the grandkids with us this year. I just love fresh fruit and all the fresh veggies from our small, local produce stands! What a great time of year!!!!
We wish everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! Enjoy your family, the food, weather, fireworks, and don’t forget to snap those pictures so you have plenty to scrapbook!!!
